Artist statement: The idea behind this mural is to spark hope, connection and conversations about mental health. As everyone knows Life has it struggles and joys, its ups and downs, These are the things that shape all of us. Working on this project bring me joy, while also being the ability to hopefully create more joy for others.
Seth Lubaton is a Virginia Beach native muralist and woodworker, and has been involved in the creative industry for over seven years. His journey began in the digital art realm of graphic design, where he honed his skills while fostering his passion for painting. The first mural Seth completed was during the 2019 VIBE muralfest. In 2020, Seth took a daring step and established his own mural business. With over 40 completed murals, ranging from intimate to expansive, Seth's vibrant and eye-catching style brings life to the walls of his hometown. His artwork reflects a fusion of influences, drawing inspiration from the local community and the wonders of nature that surround him.
