Artist statement: This mural is in support of mental health awareness month. This is a special one for me because I was medically retired from the military and one of my diagnosis is PTSD from combat after three tours in Iraq. It's not something I talk about a lot but it's something that should be addressed in our society. No one should be ashamed to ask for help and none of us should be above offering help. Whether it's a lending ear, a drive to a clinic or even a cup of coffee with someone who needs. Check on each other daily.
