Ji Yong Kim is a Korean American artist and educator based in Brooklyn. He's passionate about public art and has created over 10 murals across NYC, transforming spaces like schools, libraries, and shelters with his vibrant designs. His recent works include "Chromatic Symphony of Greater Harlem" in Henry J. Carter Hospital in Manhattan and "Color of Sound" in Queens. Ji Yong's studio practice explores Asian and Buddhist cultural representations. He has exhibited in group shows like "South Brooklyn Salon" and "Homegrown." A dedicated arts educator for over 15 years, he currently teaches at Raritan Valley Community College in NJ, advocating for accessible public art education.
