Artist Statement After starting a new series called ‘Note to Self’ Annica incorporated the phrase “You Are Not Alone” into one of her larger than life sticky notes. As someone who works with words in her work she is constantly taking notes when a phrase moves her. So over the past few years as she turns to podcasts, books, trusted teachers and friends for help guiding a healthy mental space she found herself with these affirming and uplifting sticky notes all over her house and her studio. “It’s a note from my self to my future self. With this mural I share my sticky note with you as well.”

Artist Bio Annica Lydenberg of Dirty Bandits is the co-founder of You Are Not Alone Murals. Dirty Bandits is a Brooklyn based design firm dedicated to delivering agency-quality creative for brands that give a darn. Work is fueled by Annica’s deep appreciation for type, love of storytelling, and a dedication to social good.
